The Batmini turns one.
The Batmini turns one.
Today is the 1 year anniversary of the day I took delivery of what would become "The Batmini"... I referred it to by the same name at first, but also documented 6 major transformation steps on the MiniUSA Owner's Lounge...
Phase 1: Tint
Phase 2: Audio
Phase 3: Stripes
Phase 4: Seat Covers
Phase 5: Interior Accessories
Phase 6: Cold Air Intake
It was at this point I considered the car 'complete enough' to be truly considered worthy of the Batmini name... I listed a 7th, but didn't stop at 7, so I forget what it was...
A full list of mods & journal documenting them can be found by clicking "profile" in my sig.
A few Batmini Stats:
Wagnbat NAM posts: 1800
Miles motored: 19k
MiniUSA profile hits: 1800+
CarDomain hits: 6000+
Insurance related indicents: 3
Cost of mods:
Fastest speed reached: ~ 140mph
MINI Friends made: too many to count
And some before & after pictures:

DCMM is having a get together this weekend at KDGBLU's house... I'm going to give the Batmini a birthday coat of Zaino tomorrow morning, and a celebration toast if I remember at the event (remind me!!!).
Thanks all (DCMM & NAM) for making this first year enjoyable, and one I'll always remember.

You've accomplished a lot in just one year.
What are your plans for the future with your car?

Much like the unique style of putting your Mini together on miniusa.com, the Fireballed line-up will be truly unique. With names like SHOCKWAVE, INFERNO, GHOSTTHUMPER and FURY, the line of Hollywood Studio themed Minis will sure to rocket off shelves just like die-cast cars. And they’re about the same size, too.

Hey William-
The truth be told, I will be producing a BATMINI in the near future.
However, our versions will be quite a bit different. You car is really
bitchin,' though. Great and fun details. Although I designed a moviecar
version a while ago (on my site), it won't be as crazy as that.
Great job on your car!!

Someone posted on the NAM forums, under the DC Metro section, that
according to White Roof Radio, you are going to be making a Batmini? Is
there any truth behind this? I named my car that before I took
delivery, and have done quite a bit of work to make it fit the role as
well as the name... So I was obviously a bit curious.
