Last time it was a team endurance race. I think it was 150 laps, forced pit every 15 (if you failed to pit you got a time penalty). It definitely was an endurance race too, I was exhausted afterward (bruised too).

 

Cuz of all the dropouts, are there any more spots for a +1?

 

Ive got to cancel for family stuff.... sigh....

 

Am missing from the RSVP list - 2 drivers (see May 11 post). Let me know if this is now a problem. Thanks.

I will have to bow out of this event. I'll be working on the Classic '68 this weekend, fixing the wiring nightmare from the previous ill-knowledgeable. Go figure... blinkers work again, and the license plates are mounted. Onto the brake lights Lil' guy should be at an event soon near you :0)

sorry for the very very late cancel.. a little bird just told me what the guys have planned for this Saturday.. For an early fathers day gift .. im going to get Shanghided (sorry for spelling). Taken to a Very Private party. Where I've been warned to bring plently of 1 dallor bills. Don't know what there for but I've been told there will be a "happy ending" for this party.. What ever that means =P

if I just come and hang out for a few moments? I'm new to mini ownership, and would like to meet some fellow owners, but I have a family commitment around the same time. I also stuggle at the track. I think my 210 lbs frame is too much for those karts.

 

No way my 205 lbs frame was setting near the track record.

 

You should come... and drive! I'm 225 lbs, and I do. Sure, we have a disadvantage, but it's still loads of fun. The carts do better than you'd think with our weight, but yeah I'd love to shed 100 lbs and try it that way too.

I seriously doubt there will be a problem fitting anyone in - I don't think MoS cares if the names that come are different than the RSVP... heck, they probably aren't even looking at the list! Don't worry, you'll get to drive. We might even be short on drivers, so some people will drive extra.

Alright, from what I gather many of you are meeting at Wegmans between 4:45 and 5:45 and leaving around 5:45 to head to the track. Am I correct there?
