I've got some Tate service scheduled, and I'm already pessimistic. My AC is out, and it's been damned hot and muggy... Makes me moody.

Turns out Tate didn't mount the bottom of my Aero Kit front bumper properly, and now there is a crack under the driving lights. I'm going to give them an earful when I take it in on the 7th.

Ok, so like a scared parent on their kids first day of school, Soulfire is going in for service tomorrow...I am nervous, but excited. We are getting the A/C fixed, like Will, having problems with it, no air out of the front vents. Getting the clutch fixed, and getting NEW SHOES!!! YIPPIE!!!! Getting high-heels!! 18s baby! We are putting the new JCWs on. Can't wait. Keeping the old S-lites for snow tires, but we will be puttin out in STYLE...

I need to make an appointment as well for something they screwed up at delivery....not looking FWD to it.

The other issue I have with the windshield washer jet leaking...I will be taking it down to Crown MINI. It leaked, stained my vinyl, so the sprayer has to be repaired, vinyl and clearbra removed and replaced. I afraid that if I had Tate do that as well I would end up with vinyl on the roof, clearbra'd boot, and a leaky sprayer!

LOL... we'll have to have a JCW wheel show... they aren't really all that common, you know.

Yep, Jay and I went round and round about all that was out there, and I really don't want what everyone else has, so to quote Scavenger, 'now for something entirely different!' I kind of like it that they aren't common, that is why I'm shellin out the dough baby! Now we will just have to find a storage place by the new condo.

Must Say, I am very pleased with our experience at Tate! They took very good care of SoulFire and treated my baby with respect! And here are a couple of pictures of SF's new shoes!! To be seen in person at Mark's!

I saw Soulfire friday night when I picked up the Batmini...

Another strike for Tate tho... They fixed the AC, and it's already broken and spewed out all the coolant again.

Krips man! Even though this was our 1st visit to Tate, I thought they did a great job, the tech even put my UniChip in the passenger compartment for me. Perhaps there are good/bad techs there.

MiniNurse I like your new wheels!!

Very cool wheels.
I sure hope Tate Mini is good to my car, I have to take her in soon to get the window looked at. Nothing major just a little slow.
So they will give me a loaner car with no problem?? I will def need one since i live in Sterling but i am boycotting a CERTAIN dealership 5 minutes from my house!!!
Man I am not going to be able to sleep knowing my Mini is in MD and so far away.....

Well, you're always welcome to leave your car at the dealer, and they'll get it it whenever they do... But no garanteed loaner or rental then.

Apparently not. If Towson was closer I'd consider it... Unless they're open on Saturdays, eh?

That is such BS! If I were still running the show over there, I'd send someone out to pick the car up & get it fixed post-haste. I'ts on them for not fixing the problem the first time. MINI USA (and BMWNA) policy is to fix it right the first time, everytime. This is a classic example of a failure to do so. And they wonder why their CSI is in the toilet...

BTW, who said you'd have to wait 2 weeks, anyways?

Caroline said it on Monday, because I said I could bring it in Wednesday or Next Friday. She said she couldn't get me a loaner before next Friday.

Thankyou JCWMiniS

We had a problem with Soulfire's driver door lock and Tate was able to get me in. I did however call them the Sat before and they were able to fix it. I am sticking with Tate and try to get Sam as your tech, he knows what he is doing and has a good attitude.
