Tate will have a new SA Debbie (pretty , young girl - don't know her car knowledge -) as Bill is leaving. Today was his last day .

I was there just a few hours ago - because of Streghina's noise which appears to be a bracket in the back.. but it will be fixed next week just in time for the DRAGON - and Caroline was training a new person. Since Caroline is not leaving I must assume that Bill is the one going.. making SAs # 4 since May '03 (when I took delivery of my first MINI).

I don't want sound old fashion here but two young ladies as SA doesn't seem to fit quite right. Maybe, due my poor experience with TATE first SA (a woman) of course, they are not the ones working on the cars as the mechanics are the ones solving problems and Henry and Jason are still there .

It is annoying, however, to see a new face every couple of months. Let's hope Caroline will stay a bit: I like her, she is very nice and understand a bit about cars..

I agree Caroline is a great SA. Always has done what she promised.

I'm not sexist and believe a pair of women can do a job just as well as a pair of men

So then Bill was there what 2 months I thinks....Maybe between my car and WagnBat's cars he had enough

I have to say, though, Bill didn't seem as knowledgeable as I would have hoped, certainly not as knowledgeable as Will, when it comes to cars/MINIs. I also got the feeling he didn't like it there too much (or maybe just when dealing with me). Caroline has been a pleasure to deal with and I hope Tate does right by her. In overheard conversations b/w her and Will, she seems to know what she's talking about.

They drag SAs down from the BMW part, and so these guys seem to feel like it's some sort of demotion.
Tate seems clueless about doing this, rather than hiring SAs from the "outside", like Will.
