ok, its official, I CAN"T be at the happy hour. The coworker was willing to switch, but my manager said no. Retail SUCKS!!!! Cant do anything on Black friday either, working til close and probably wont get out of work til after midnight.
After all of this, i will need a drink!

Yes - at least I'm still planning on being there. I figure, even if nobody shows up I'll be having some good beer.

 

I'm going to attempt to make it. As long as things don't go completely insane at work it shouldn't be a problem.

Hmm, I would love to head up there Tuesday, especially after sampling their fine ale at places around DC, but I don't know if I'll be able to make it Tuesday. It's going to be difficult fighting my way from Suitland to Gaithersburg in time. But I'll try!

Is it going to be obvious about the mini table? Some of the people RSVP'ing I don't know (look forward to meeting though) so I want to make sure to find the group. I have never been to Dogfish before - and I know some happy hours are a bit overwhelming.

So, hopefully it will be a reasonable turnout. I know eTickt had to cancel because of a work-related trip to St. Louis (he was co-organizing tonight's get together).

I'll be getting there at 5:30 and will probably stay until 7:30-8:00, unless my wife and I are the only ones left at that point.

I'm an absolute wreck. After my regular job, I went to a company client last night for some scheduled work... got started around 8:15pm, figured I'd be done at midnight...

Yep, another all nighter. I left the client at about 7:40 this morning, and fought traffic to make it home at 8:15am. Showered, and got back in the car to take it to MoS (scheduled appointment today). More traffic. MoS was busy too, didn't get out of there until 11:30am...

So basically as I write this I've hit over 30 hours straight without any sleep. But DAMMIT I'm a die hard HH fan (and a stubborn SOB), so I will still TRY to make it tonight. But I'll probably be limiting myself to one or two drinks, and an early departure so I can hit the hay early.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, if I DO show, it'll probably be in my PW/B MC CVT loaner car. Quite the opposite of mine! Even the opposite in terms of JCW - it has the 18" JCW wheels, which I DON'T have. Weird, huh? On a Cooper, too. Heh.
