Shop Recommendations for springs & sway bar
be prepared to get shocked.
I was looking for a shop to install my springs/rear sway and the cheapest place I could trust my car with was around $600(curry's auto).
Glenelg(sp?) service center up in MD wanted $680(flat rate!) for springs & alignment
Ended up installing sway bar with a help from another Mini owner(took ~3hr) and springs with Randy when he had a pulley party(done in 1 hr!).

But you didn't get an alignment. If the cheapest price is the main criteria, then we are not for you. Prices are dictated by overhead and the level of service provided. Hence the dealer prices and our prices. More capability and the costs associated with that capability, higher price and most likely better value.
