DC Deals interest feeler

I'm thinking about starting up a thread here for any 'deals' that could be found here locally, in regards to pretty much everything. It could be anything from a neat little shop you found over the weekend, or a major sale at a local store/market.

Everyone could contribute/update, and share their feedback.

Sound like something we'd be interested in?

Here's a deal:

Come up to Baltimore, where gas is still under $2.60/gal for 93.

misc. about gas prices - cool widget for computer

konfabulator (konfabulator.com) is a cool widget program (for any platform) they have a lowest gas price widget, that has been pretty accurate for me (though only shows low grdae price) The programs and the widgets are all free. I prefer konfabulator to dashboard. Just an FYI

We use this sucker, too. I checked it last night, but it wasn't updated for the 10th of Aug

HOWEVER...I filled up for $2.539 before I drove a needless 75 miles round trip to get some fly fishing in on the Gunpowder. With gas getting more and more expensive, I find my urge to fish increasing at an alarming rate!

Try picking up a hobby where you use small peices of lead to make holes in innocent peices of paper. That gets expensive after a while too....

Here's an example of what I'm talking about.

I found a 'free nabisco honeymade snacks sampler' deal... All you have to do is put in your info, and opt out of the email newsletter, and you should get some free goodies in a few weeks.
