Howdy Y'all,

I'd like to invite everyone to an art opening. Wait you said mini golf. Yep mini art golf. 8 artists were commissioned and I was allowed (heehee) to make obstacles for mini golf holes. It will be at the ellipse arts center in Arlington. All the obstacles or "art" have to depict something historical or unique about Arlington.
So far it looks great people are still insstalling things and I'm not done yet (shocker) but it promises to be fun.

Grand opening thursday June 30th from 6-9
Ellipse Arts center 4350 North Fairfax Drive
After that it will be open Wed- Fri 12-8 Sat 11-3
Parking under the building is available opening night for 3 dollars
2 dollars to play. Free opening night.
Check it out. No bugs, fun art and challenging play. and you might learn something about Arlington.

How long is the exhibit showing?
I leave for vacation on the 30th and will be gone for a week. this sounds pretty cool to check out and since I live in Clarendon I think I'll swing by.

 

runs from july 30 to august 13th. open wed to fri 12-8 sat 11-3. From august 19-21st it might move to the Arlington County fair.
It's worth a check out, especially if you're just down the road.
I have to say it's pretty cool. and not just cause they let me participate.!
