Taking back the mini
Taking back the mini
Well I only had the mini for like 2 weeks and Im taking her back. Had it at Tate Mini to look over some problems that she was having and it turned into bigger problems. About 8k in parts and 2800 labor. The car was modified before. So right now im in the battle with the used car dealership trying to get my money back. There such morons. Very long story. When I get my money back I will be looking for another mini

bye mini

bye mini
Wow - sorry to hear this. That certainly is a bummer.....Do you have any idea who might have owned it before? What kind of issues is it having?

So that's how El Diablito does it. I missed the part about his turbocharger. In theory it seems to make sense--increasing power at both ends or orifices. Hope I get to see it in person someday.
Meanwhile shouldn't the dealer have given teck2 such information in a disclosure during his purchase? Maybe it was the previous owner or an intermediate who removed the turbocharger and not the dealer. If the dealer did it and had not disclosed this then there must be a way to derive compensation. Perhaps a consumer advocacy group could help. I would consult legal counsel--some are not as expensive as they appear and the advice may take less than 2 hours in fees.
A supercharged-turbocharged MCS is not common and must have belonged to a genuine gearhead--most likely to have known about NAM or MINI2 and might have contributed or even posted photos of this exceptional looking car. Perhaps someone will see this stream and enlighten teck2.
