MINI in National Geographic

The Feb.05 edition of National Geographic (with the Great Grey Owl on the cover) has a featurette in the Geographica section, near the front, un-numbered page) entitled "Global Economy, A World of Parts" "It's a big job to build a Mini" that highlights the geographical diversity of the Mini.

The article states that there are a total of 250 different options, making for some 50,000 different, unique configurations.

The interactive version of NGM is available online here
.

The text of the NGM article (without pictures) is online here.

Yeah,

I saw that at the dentist office, was going to take it but my daughter runs the place and told me to put it back. I told her I was going to get him a replacement when I could find one. Have been to the bookstore yesterday and today and they still have last months.

Good article.

Just got around to looking at my copy of National Geographic. Very cool pictures. I'm going to look at the interactive version when I finish here.
