Last Saturday's Tech Day seemed to be a great success (for pictures, see here or here). So what should DCMM do for an encore?

One idea is to wait until winter is over (like maybe early April, after any salt is gone from the roads but before the Dragon) and hold a
"How Do You Make your Mini Shine?" clinic. This might well include such topics as:

• What is a claybar?
• Zaino vs Ziamol vs Mothers vs Meguiar vs ?
• Will Peanut Butter really get white wax spillover off the Black pieces?
• Should I ever use Armorall?
• How do I get may pretty wheels clean?
• Should I ever used a motorized polisher?

We have a number of DCMMers who have voiced strong opinions on all these topics. Maybe we can force some of them to finally prove their claims

John Behe told me that he can make water hoses available in his parking lot and that he would welcome DCMM making another trek to Glenelg (the only palindromic city in Maryland).

I think this sounds like a great idea for an early Spring event. We could bring grills and food and do another BBQ at the same time.

 

What about cheap mods? Like Intake install or MTH flashes? I am looking into doing the MTH ecu flash and would love to share the fun with other miniacs.

 

how about something about paint protection stuff. Or even stuff like a regular bra vs the clear bra vs whatever.

 

Love the idea of a car care/BBQ event.

I like the carcare idea as well. If someone has a "cleaning the backsides of white wheels" solution, that should be added to the list.
