Addition is easier to handle than cancellation.

We have to confirm as early as we can to reserve the tubes (they have a limited number of tubes). Please let me know as soon as you can.

Maxi...it will be 3 adults (not 2) and 1 kid for me I will not be meeting others at Starbucks. I'm going to go straight to Liberty with our friend. Will we have to wait for the rest of the group in order to check in? We were thinking about going slightly earlier because our friend needs to get back to NoVa by 4pm

Amazing how it was fine on the slopes I have some Kodak pics but cannot seem to upload them, getting an error message that the files are to big. yea had alot of fun today!!!! wish the run was alittle longer me n chris are gonna try n put one together for everyone down by us in ellcot city. we're still planing it all but keep a good look out for it cant wait to see everyone at th towsonmeet n greet i even heard there was gonna be a run after cant wait see everyone there!!

the easiest way is the open the pics in MS paint, then hit "Ctrl w" then change the vertical and horizontal the same amount until the pic is about the same size as would be on a post (the smaller the percentage the more the picture will shrink, i usually use intervals of 75 until its right)

We had to bail early - Megan could only do the little hill and got bored with it, and they wouldn't let her on the big hill (too young/small), so she got upset and completely shut down.

Ah, 4 yr olds....

On a brighter note, she fell asleep on the run up there, so at least I know she's not susceptible to car sickness (unlike her mother).

 

I have an idea.

This year "Snowtubing" .................... next year "Skydiving".

 

Big THANKS to Chris for organizing this!! It was way too much fun! Eric and I had a blast. It was perfect weather, awesome twisties, and great company. We're definitely coming again next year. Looking forward to the next Towson breakfast and Bill's run.

Had the chance to do it while stationed on Guam but then I started thinking... damn, that's a small island.

I went back in '93 and it was fun (and pricey ).

I did the Accelerated Freefall method instead of the tandem rig.The jumpmasters are holding on to you instead of being strapped to your back. Once you pull the ripcord, they let go and you're on your own.

I think they still have a company in Chambersburg, PA that does instruction.

I'd do it, but it would have to involve failed engines, a dead pilot, and/or a gun to my head. Y'all have fun...I'll stand safely on the ground and watch..with binoculars.

I know JR Sides from WAY back . He was my one of my AFF instructors at Skydive Delmarva.

 

If you'd seen some of the planes used by dropzones, you'd understand the urge to jump from a safe altitude. I've been up in DC3's that were held together by duct tape and chicken wire.
