I just got home. First time to see him in concert, the band was excellent live!

The MINI got a LOT of attention in the lot prior. A lot of folks came over to talk. 4 Women over the course of 90 minutes asked to sit in it and get their picture taken... Why is it always the married ones?

 

We have not been to see him in several years. We did have a stretch some time ago where we went to see him at Merriweather five or six years in a row. We stopped going when he cut Merriweather out of his schedule.

The shows were fantastic! During the early years, the all day party in the parking lot was as good as his show. I have always found it amazing that someone who can hardly sing and had maybe three hits over a 35 year career was able to parlay that into the money machine that he built. I know we probably put one of his kids through the first semester of college with all the parrothead paraphernalia we purchased over the years.

Despite all that, we still love his old music and listen to it all the time.
