2nd service interval

Hello DCMMer's

My 2002 MCS is finally reaching around 50,000 miles.
So it is time for me to get my 2nd interval maintenance which they check approximately 3 pages worth of items, flush fluids, change belts, and ETC.

I was wondering if I could get your input on this. I have a couple of options on which dealership I go to.

My best option, that I prefer would be going to Mini of Towson, which Rose does a excellent job of customer service. But what I do not like about it, would be the cost of the job there.

My other option would be going to a 3rd party maintenance shop such as Frederick motorsports or funktion auto.

My last option would be trying other dealerships, such as the new Mini of Annapolis.

Can some one recommend me the best option?
Thanks,
Jee.

Again, with no replies.
I must be the most unpopular questioner on DCMM :(

Excellent question Jee!

Thanks for asking.

Sorry, I don't have any answers for you, but at least I hope that helped your self-esteem.

@ 50k, it should be covered under maintenance plan which is no charge.

Or if you have only 36k maintenance plan, the 2nd interval is not that expensive. The third is.

I wanted to bump this -- I'm at 60k and have done nothing except oil changes since I bought the car at 45k miles. I just moved to Baltimore from Columbia and am looking for a place to do the inspection.

Mini of Annapolis was expensive - like $600. I'd imagine Towson will be the same. There's a British American Auto Care place in Columbia that I never got a quote from (which is a shame, I used to live a mile down the road), but if anyone has been anywhere in Baltimore with halfway decent service, and a good price, just let me know! Otherwise I might just skip the inspection and just get my belts replaced at 75k.

If I remember right, Towson was starting at the lower $600.
