Any plan on July 4th ???

It is around the corner.

 

Don't have any plans.....yet! Firework run?

 

No parades this year? Just think... you wouldn't have to listen to "Oooohhhhh, I like the purple one!"

 

 

Are the parades in the works?

 

Doing something on the 4th would be cool =) I didn't get to see ANY fireworks last year so this year it's definitely a must!

Does anyone have any historical info on contact re: the Annapolis 4th of July parade. My inquiries around NAM lead me to think no one has spoken to them (The parade organizers). If not too late I'd be willing to pursue seeing if we can be involved again, but it'd sure help if I knew who runs it...

 

Found it. We have till June 20th to apply. If I don't hear anyone say they've done and if hearing no objections from a board member I'll apply for DCMM to be a unit in the parade.

There's a 10 car limit for a car club, I'm in and post here if you wish to participate. Cars MUST have some relevent decorations to the 4th... per the city of Annapolis.

There are two parades on the DCMM calendar, one for Capitol Hill and the other for Annapolis, are those happening?

 

Those are tentative events. I put it on the calendar base on last year events.

 

I'll let everyone know about the Annapolis one. Seemed no one was doing them. I've got the paper work / application filled out fo the Annapolis Parade and will be faxing it in this a.m. I'll advise when we've been officially accepted. I'll go start a seperate thread now.

 

Since I was on a roll I went searching on the Capital Hill parade. Seems to have been org'd in the past by a Capial Hill School Cluster PTA... Found a email address of someone organizing it last year and sent a note to that person to see what I can learn.

If anyone has contact info for the Capital Hill parade I'm willing to do the work to make it happen...
