Excellent experience at funKtion auto

I took our 2006 MINI Cooper S to funKtion Auto yesterday for a wheel alignment. I was very pleased with the quality of work performed as well as the friendliness of the staff. This is a top notch shop with the latest equipment and highly qualified technicians. Steve, the technician who worked on our MINI, explained the work to be performed and was very thorough.

Wayne, the Service Manager, was very helpful and kept me apprised of the progress throughout the process and answered all of my questions.

Walid Achi, the owner wants to continue growing the business and is very interested in continuing to build on their quality reputation for servicing MINIs. Walid is also a race car driver and has a passion to provide performance engineering to his customers.

This shop can not only do the basic maintenance required to keep our MINIs running perfectly but the offer the tuners a lot of quality performance upgrades. Crystal, who worked for MINI of Sterling, is at funKtion and can provide support in ordering parts to upgrade the performance of our MINI Cooper's and their staff are highly qualified and trained as performance technicians to help us get the most out of our cars. They are very supportive of the DC Metro MINI Club and look forward to continuing to build a relationship with local MINI Owners

I would definitely recommend funKtion Auto to the most discriminating MINI Cooper owner.

I quite agree--I've taken Dora there couple of times already, and they've been outstanding. They were very willing to grab oil sample for me in my last visit, and answered my questions readily.

Great to hear a good review about funKtion Auto since they a conveniently located next to my office on Mercure Circle. I have been thinking about getting a wheel alignment since I just purchased some new tires. I'm curious about the approximate cost since it has been awhile since I haven't done one for a while.

Brian,

They charge $107 per hour and the alignment will take between 1 and 1 1/2 hour from my experience. They are definitely in line with dealer charges but they have the latest equipment and their attention to detail is a trademark of this excellent garage. Their primary focus is performance and performance upgrades.
