Just got back from the movie...i never bothered checking the running time....that was a long movie!

Hey, Rowan, nice meeting you, today. I missed you guys coming out of the theatre somehow.

Yeah, I thought it was over after the first major race. Thanks also to Dan for setting this up. I had fun! Alot more EVO and STI owners there, today.

I've been offline from NAM all week as well as most of MOTD, so I missed this... darn! Oh well, glad you all had a great time.

 

I had a good time! The movie was better than I feared. A little long, but overall pretty entertaining.

Sorry for not hanging out afterwards, I had decided to have lunch after the movie and as a result was starving when we got out

 

So how bad was the movie? Did anyone go into epileptic seizures from all the exploding-Tokyo-disco graphics?

One thing though, I got kinda bummed when someone wedged their trash between my Aux driving light and hood. Actually I think I saw the person do it but didn't think twice about it because I thought they were just checking out the driving lights, stripes or M7 extreme scoop. At least they didn't put any trash in the scoop. I figured people had more respect than that when going to a car meet. Some people are just a bit immature and have no respect, I guess...there is always one person like that where ever you go.

All in all it was a good time. Speed Racer was definitely better that I was expecting. Just don't get a Medium (movie theater size) soda and drink it all. That was painful.

 

So, it was somebody from the meet? Like a Subi or Evo owner?

 

Well, I know it wasn't one of the MINI guys. There was only 3 of us there plus 2 passengers. As far as knowing whether it was an owner of a subie or mitsu, I don't know. It could have been a passenger or it could have been someone just looking at the cars. Definitely a younger guy. Well, at least younger than me. All the guys I've met at the MachV meet have been real nice people. So, who knows?
