Runflat Mounting shops in Baltimore?
Runflat Mounting shops in Baltimore?
I got a set of runflats to replace my balding OEMs. I started calling some shops to get them mounted, with not so great results.
Me: Do you mount runflat tires?
Mr Tire guy on phone: <pause> Why would you mount tires that are bad?
Me: <pause> No, they're the kind that you can drive on when they're flat
Mr Tire guy: Is that a brand of tire?
Me: Never mind.
Anyone got a recommendation for a shop that:
1. Knows what runflat tires are
2. Can mount them without scraping up the wheels
3. Is in the greater Baltimore area
4. Costs less than the dealer? (Not that I know what this cost is.)

Tires shouldn't be plugged anyway, it can damage the tire by pulling the steel belts out of position. A tire should be patched from the inside. When it is properly done it is good for the life of the tire.
