[Sunday, Apr 6th & 20th] Spring Fling 2008: Sunday Drive & Brunch

Awww, that really sucks. I dont like driving in the rain.

Especially in a one month old MINI that's only seen rain once
EDIT: I was going to ask if someone was willing to let me use one of their radios for the run. But now, looks like we'll have to wait and see. If it's really nasty, is everyone still going to meet?

Oh yeah - post #303 updated again.
Brunch selection
We're coming rain or shine...don't think it will be that bad...I am a meteorologist...showery perhaps but certainly nothing like an all day downpour.
Lunch selections: Blackened chicken caesar wrap and fish and chips.

Anyone have an idea at what time we're to arrive at the Naked winery?
Thanks anyway.MINInurse- I'm still going to give you food orders. I'll PM you sometime late tonight with them.
Assuming this is something you do, can you please bring a DCMM badge tomorrow that i can buy? Please, please! (Still dont have the holders attached though...

I'm sorry, I won't be able to make it. There is something coming up (family matter). Will have to take a raincheck this time.
You all have fun. Drive carefully.
Man, I really miss the shepherd pie.

A HUGE thanks to everybody involved in organizing this run; i had a blast!!! Def. wish i had gone on the last run. The roads were GREAT, and the Shepard's Pie at the Tavern was indeed fantastic. I'll have pics at some point; i took over 130, guess i'll have to see how many of those actually came out. It was also nice to meet a few of you, although i didn't meet as many people as i had hoped to.
Yep, great run! I'll definitely be going on the next one!
I too took some pictures ... Some of mine didn't turn out as good as others though... still an awesome day of MINI fun! I'm glad the rain let up a little towards the end though.
edit: Sorry for thumbnails. I dont know how to enlarge them.

Thanks to everyone who came on the Naked Edition! I was actually very amazed and impressed with the turnout, considering it was raining buckets! Even though we only had 7 MINIs that did the entire run, we still started off with 19 MINIs of the 25 RSPVed... and another one who joined us at the restaurant!
That's 20 MINIs... and 80% retention in terrible weather. Wow! Our wine tasting retention wasn't quite as high (47.6%) but that's OK - I still think that the winery was very happy to see us considering how slow it was for them.
I really hope that the next time we do this run, the weather is favorable... because as much fun as people still had today, it really counts double on a beautiful day.
In case anyone wants the "soft copy" of it, I have attached an Excel file containing the route sheets for both Editions to post #1.
