How often do they do them? I plan on getting the windows re-tinted (darker) but not sure how often safety inspections are done. I had the car inspected about 2 years ago when I registered it in MD. My tag registration is up in May and will need to renew.

I came from Va where they inspect it every year but rarely question the darkness of tint at the inpsection stations.

As far as I know the only time you have to get your car inspected in Maryland is when you register it. If it's already registered and you're just renewing you don't have to worry about it. Only other time it might is if you get pulled over and issued an inspection ticket.
