Cloverfield... 01-18-08

The movie opens on Jan 18th.

AMC at Columbia Mall usually has Thursday's preview shows for some new movies. I'm thinking about going on Thursday, 1/17.

Anyone?

Do I want to see it? Heck yeah - looks awesome!

Do I want to see it on opening weekend? HECK NO! I learned a long time ago that going to any "big" movie on opening weekend is just too much of a hassle.

Change the weekend, and I'm in.

Aren't the preview shows usually at 12 midnight?

I don't mind seeing things on opening weekend. But, we have a huge deadline around that time, so Saturday may actually be better for me.

BTW, isn't that Helix/RMW week?

Last time, the preview (Transformers) was on Thursday, started from 2pm show.

And the line wasn't too bad at all.

I'd be willing to go!

It just has to be doable with my work schedule and time to get to the theater.

If I wait that long, I would know all about the movie before I get a chance to watch it.

The staffs at my office are quite good story tellers.

Nope.

Actually, I haven't got a chance to go anywhere. I have been sitting in front of computer screens since this morning.

But I heard that the movie is not as good as expected though.

Wait for a night and a DVD ?

If you like romantic type films, "Atonement" is fantastic, one of the all time greats in my opinion. Leona and I have seen it twice at the old Greenbelt Theatre.

Cheers,

Mike

OH YEAH! I wanna see it again! But next time I'll take dramamine before I go

My opinion is NOT to see it on DVD....that would not do it justice.

Personally, I haven't liked any film at the cinema since "Muppet Treasure Island" !!!

Seriously though.... Romantic = Dr. Zhivago

THAT movie was from before most of you were born probably ! LOL !
