OK, we'll be there! I just rsvp'd. We've been on a bit of a hiatus for a while, so it will be nice to see everyone and catch up.

ok..back home from family wedding in NYC, so now we can get down to serious party business...

PARKING INFO:

If we park carefully, we can get at least 7-10 MINIs in our driveway. Brian and Jess will hvae parked in one space cuz they're coming early...I think.

If you Google Map our address (627 Old County [not Country] Road Severna Park MD 21146), you will see a dead end street, on the right just before our house...ROADS END LANE. This is the "parking lot " for the rest of the cars. It is safe to leave your car there...I had to leave mine there for 7 months while we put on the addition. Our house is maybe 75 yards from Roads End.

The party starts at 4, so if you are coming say, at 5:30, please park there. A word of caution: our house is on a blind corner, so please be careful both driving and walking on the road.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO RSVP ..and to bring a wrapped gift that costs less than $20. And put on yer party duds.

I have 2 cats...just a heads up to anyone who's allergic.

PM me with any specific questions.

I just looked at the RSVP list...only 15 people?? Last year we must have had 30-40 attendees.
C'mon folks...it's a party! Don't you want something fun to do this Saturday night?
Don't make me start begging...cuz I will....

Actually, there are more. They might forget to put their names on the rsvp list.

Just wanted to make sure I wasn't gonna be forced in to work on Saturday before I responded.

I'll bring a cake or pie or something dessert-ish.

Yet again, work is going to get in the way of my fun this weekend.

Hopefully, I'll be able to make it next year!

Now that we've sorted out how we're doing what we're doing this weekend, I can commit to what to bring! I won't be able to cook anything (that's no one's loss, really). So, we'll be bringing some type of appetizer, either bruschetta or a shrimp tray (or both).

Man, you've missed 2 good events in the roll.
Try to come back before the end of the month, we might have some surprise.

Just and FIY folks. I have 2 guest rooms, so if you feel that you imbibed too much, or don't feel like driving all the way home, anyone is welcome to stay here....

Also a reminder..if you're bringing kids, please bring something to entertain them. The closest thing I have to a toy is a set of Lincoln Logs, which I'm happy to break out. However, Lincoln Logs can't hold a candle to a PSP with a favorite game loaded in it.

Son, didn't we dance this dance last year??
All I can say is look at the list and bring what you think is missing...

On a different note, the weather looks wintry for Sat. I hope it doesn't get bad enough to put a wrench in the works...our road is usually kept very clear.

Short of a blizzard or ice storm (neither of which are being predicted), I hope the party will go on as planned

If the weather is not co-operate, do you mind if we bring non-MINI? For a safety reason.

I will be treckin in Cecilia unless it is REALLY bad. Jay drives the Element into work on Saturday and I am happy to drive (I have my snow shoes on) but like I said, if it is really bad I may have to pass...Don't worry though, it has to be REALLLLLLLY bad out for me to miss out on seeing Brian and Jessie! And of course the rest of you crazy people!
