VA Help (reset tool)

Hello

Shouting out to fellow mini's in the VA area with a
R5/EMX Engine Scan Mini Cooper Reset Tool.
I need to reset my service light.
Willing to buy you lunch!!!!

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think any AutoZone can reset it for you gratis.

Oh, wait, do you mean the oil/service milege indicator, or the Check Engine Light?

If it's the oil/service milege indicator, you can do it yourself for the '02-'06s, and probably the '07s.

If it's the CEL, my post above applies!

Can you clarify your location. I live near Ballston Mall (sorry can't help you reset) but it is in Arlington VA

Thanks for those that have tried to helped me.
To clarify things up it was the service maintainance that tell me that im over do for an oil change that I need to reset.

i have tried this

Here is how to reset the oil service light:

1) Press and hold the trip button
2) Insert key and turn to position 1
3) Watch for RESET to appear
4) Release the button, then press & hold it again
5) Wait for the RESET to flash
6) Release the button, and then press & release (once only)
7) Service interval should then be reset to next interval

But nevered got a RESET light to appear
