I have 3 ?'s

1. Carwash/Self Wash/Professional Detailers? Is it ok to use brushless carwash?

2. Seat cover for the back seat. I have a St Bernard who likes to go to work with me, but she sheds like CRAZY! (She looks pretty darn cute in the back seats!)

3. Where can I "let her out"? I'd like to really run my car hard. Any cone-type races in the future?

Hello pga_mike.

1) I have never used a brushless, let alone any car wash on my MINI. I hand wash her. If you do a search within our part of the forum on car washes, there are some that use them and they can tell you which ones to use/avoid.

2) Krut has a cover that he uses for CTD (Cooper The Dog) I would PM him.

3)Cone type races, do you mean Auto-Cross? If so, I would PM lastrega, she is the one that really Auto-Xs here.

I would be careful with some of the touchless carwashes. Some has jets which will shoot high pressure water upward and will push between the seals of the conv top. In my sister's car we had one case that the rear windows leaked a tad and some water got in. Not much but still a worry.
