Well, for as cool as my landlord is, I do want to check out some other options. Is there anyone on the boards here that is looking to rent out a room, or perhaps an apartment/condo? I am interested in getting a dog as well, so I'd be curious as to respective pet fees = )

I like the Columbia location/area, but I'm open to other ideas!

Well, I do *like* thie (greater) Columbia area/Howard county, but again, not 100% need to be here. I would like to have a dog (kinda the reason I'm looking elsewhere from where I am), and I would probably try to rent out the "additional" room if I were to find a 2 bedroom place = ) Unless, of course, i could really afford it on my own!
