aero grille install anyone ?

aero grille install anyone ?

so i bought an aero bonnett mesh grille the other day and i guess you must thread the old nuts on to the mesh grilles posts butttt they allll fell in my engine bay =/ anywho do you think they would charge or or know how much ball park i would be charged to get a tech at MINI of sterlin to install it really quick ?....my car is without a grille right now ( it does look cool though ) lol buttt i need this aero grille installed and im too nervous about doing it myself because i dont want to strip the posts and have to buy a new aero grille any help would be awesome ...or if anyone that has done this wanna install mine ?.....ill buy you some beer ? lol

The nuts are self tapping. Put it on the post, apply a little bit of pressure and turn right. just don't over tighten.

do that 11 times and you are done.

Truthfully, taking them off is harder than putting them on. So the hard part is done.

yeah i called and some rude service guy said its 61 bucks for 30 mins of labor for this job that would take like 2 minutes and then rudely said the nuts that i need ( self tapping screws ) they dont know what kind you would need and have no way of looking that up ) and then transfered me to another rude parts guy who said he had no idea what these screws were and he thinks he has an idea but isnt sure what i would need ...ughhhh ...man im not happy with MINI of STERLING anyone know the size or exact name of what i would need to secure these on myself home depot probally has these right ?

if you neeed some help, you can bring it over my house and we can do it there. I did the whole aero kit on my car in my driveway. Honestly it is pretty darn easy. The hardest part is the sideskirts, and since you arent doing those it will be a piece of cake.

I would say like 2 hours tops.

lemme know, free is better than paying LOL

hey thanks for the invite .....i sent you a pm ....just howwww mucchhhh work can you do to a mini ..lol ill probally need a helping hand with some springs soon if you wanna join in im def looking for some mini friends
