if you want a gig of memory for a core 2 duo mac, i will have two 512s for sale tommorow. Name your price and they are yours, ...be realistic

Just upgraded to 3 gigs in my macbook.

Do the dual core's use different types of memory from the older (pre-intel) macs?

yeah, they use the latest speed DDR2 memory you can buy. If your mac has DDR2 it will work. If you have DDR1 you are out of luck, it is not backwards compatible.

look into it.

boo, i have DDR1. Looks like I'm keeping my memory where it is for a bit longer.

ha. i already have a 24" iMac at work. Thats enough monitor space for me.
