Ok, Kurt? STEP AWAY FROM THE CONFIGURATOR!!!!! I think you have a problem.... we may have to a sit down and stage a krutty intervention!

Wait, I thought you said that this Laser blue one was gonna be the last one for a while? It hasn't even been a year yet.

...But pepper white w/ black bonnet stripes is a pretty good lookin combo.

Actually, the MINI I have now was originally quoted to me as a PW/B with black stripes... I thought it would have been a great combo!

Well...Pepper White is a classic color and I can testify that it is an easy paint to keep looking good, if that sort of thing matters to you.

Poor Poor Krutty. So sad that the R56 was a lemon. But I REALLY liked the Laser Blue! Why not just get another one like it? Or are you going for a record of getting every color MINI available

I would say: no clutch, no flywheel, no transmission issues, get R52 MCSc for now.
JCW Dark silver MCSc, fully loaded.
The coolest car on earth.

I really LIKE Laser Blue/Black - I just don't want to curse myself again. I had a base Cooper PW/Blk for six months. It was cute but didn't really make me fall in love with the color. I do agree it was extremely easy to keep looking "clean" when it was filthy.

Maybe Lightning Blue w/ Black? I haven't seen that combo yet....

So, Tate's gonna give you a new car? Don't get white...you'll be washing it alla time, which for you is difficult.

Maybe an R56 isn't a good idea...?

Nothing concrete yet - however, I'm being proactive and Tate is processing the paperwork. That's all I'll say about that process.

Believe it or not - out of all the MINIs I've owned I like this one the best!
  • This one fits me like a glove - the seats are comfy and fit my gangly frame.
  • The engine is fantastic - powerful yet miserly on fuel.
  • It's loaded with gadgets which I truly love.
Haemish will be pleased to learn that I have included the audio package in this one - so I'll be a card carrying Sirius member.

You can't even apply for a card without the DPSM

PW is EASY to keep looking clean. What color is pollen in the spring around here ? Yellow... hardly shows on PW, looks awful on darker colors. What color are the chemicals and salts used on the roads around here in winter ? White... shows much less on PW than on darker colors... say CR or JB.

PW also hides swirls an minor surface scratches much better than darker colors.

First - I hope MINIUSA does right by you..

Second - get whatever color YOU LOVE... You tend to lean towards Blue so.......

Kurt, you buy more cars than I do! How many total MINIs have you owned, four, five? Really sorry about the transmission... let's hope my S doesn't do what yours did.

Towson had a gorgeous Dark Silver S, black roof, with the leather/cloth in blue, bluetooth, sunroof, etc. That was a cool car. Good luck, whatever you decide.

Hmmm.... BEP's not available.....

So I vote that you settle for Lightning Blue w/ Black.

Likewise I hope MINIUSA steps up here!
