I went last night and this place is crazy hilarious. Everyone was in there taking pictures and what not. I bought a Blue Squishee and took a picture with Apu. I won't ruin all the cute little touches for you. Alas the employees are not as enthusiastic as they probably were two weeks ago when this all started. As an avid Simpsons fan who can quote practically every episode in the first 12 seasons, I was pulling out my A-list material and got nothing form the employees. "A mounds bar is not a sprinkle, sir." "Please do not feed my god a peanut." Some of the other fans browsing through the store were only slightly more receptive.I had heard that one of them had graphitti on the side of "El Barto" and "Skinner Sucks", but alas, this one did not. I wanted to roll down my windows and played "Who Needs the Kwik-E-Mart?", but didn't have the song in my mini.

Kwik-W-mart report from Sat.
I do not think this is in a bad part of town at all. The 7-11 about a mile up on Keniworth is a bit sketchy though.
There was plenty of Buzz Cola, Krusty-O's, and other Simpsonalia for everyone. We only took 2 6-pks of buzz cola, 2 boxes of Krusty-O's, and 2 pink sprinkled donuts (MMMM donuts). Make sure to look in the freezer in the corner. The clerk even said, "Thank you, Come again!"
We went and took pictures w/ about 3-dozen other Simpsons fans. Bring your cameras - you will not be the only dork doing it

Hey everyone! Just got back a short time ago from my visit there with some other DCMMers. Had a blast - I think we spent an hour and a half there!
I ended up walking out of there with a Squishee (blue one, because it was the only Simpsons-related flavor, called "Blue Woo Hoo! Vanilla"), two "Mmm... SPRINKLICIOUS" donuts, two boxes of Frosted KrustyOs and two 6-packs of Buzz Cola. I ate the donuts (of course... mmmm DONUTS!), and I plan on eating one box of KrustyOs, and one of the six-packs of Buzz Cola. The other box & six-pack will remain as souveniers. I also bought some regular stuff like hot dogs & taquitos... I was hungry!
They had bobble-heads... there's a total of 11 of them, but 3 of them were completely sold out, including the original Homer one (there's a newer Homer one in his glow-in-the-dark work hazmat suit, but the original is gone). I had thought about buying the entire collection, but once I couldn't find 3 of them, I decided not to get any.

Thanks to new member Jenny (jlgk12), who is practically a neighbor, for picking me up and giving me a ride there, especially since I'm MINI-less... always nice to ride in a convertible on a sunny day!

They're in the fridge... I might have one later tonight, if they're cold enough. We'll see.
Nowhere on the entire can does it mention the Coca-Cola company nor Pepsi. It only says "distributed by 7-Eleven". I think it's an entirely different cola flavor. I'm not sure I'll like it... if it tastes anything like Dr. Pepper or Mr. Pibb, I'll probably give the remaining cans of the "OK to open" six-pack away! We'll see.
