Does one need to be a member of DCMMs to participate? Been thinking of joining anyway, but curious...

Pasadena?!! I'm right down the road in Severna Park, in Round Bay.
I won't be making the breakfast tho'...I've had some trouble with Tate so I don't go there anymore.
Perhaps, if it happens, you could come to the install day at WS Motorcars after the breakfast...? I love meeting MINI owners who're close by.

Breakfast @ Tate

Sound like fun. My mini is in production now. It would be perfect if it makes it to Tate in time for breakfast. I can't wait to motor with all the MD mini owners...

Does anyone that lives close to that area have a good relationship with a Starbuck's or local coffee shop? I'm familiar with the process to request donations... Or do they provide coffee?

I'm more than happy to bring some baked goodies.

the dealership has coffee, but I dunno how good it is.
BTW, I need someone to take DCMM info sheets and cards to Tate cuz I'm sure they're out of them by now, and since I don't go to Tate anymore....
Would anyone be willing to swing by my house and pick them up?
TIA

Soon to be owners welcome?

Hey everyone - I'm not a MINI owner yet, but I'm planning on placing an order within the next week if I don't find one in stock that has the color / package combo we like. Would we be allowed to attend the meeting?
What topics are normally covered at the meetings?

Thanks!

Anyone is welcome, there aren't topics. It's just an excuse to meet up somewhere.

For those that are new, (in my opinion) the unoffical moto of DCMM is "If we are not driving, we are eating and if we are not eating we are driving". The only things required are loving MINIs and food.

BTW, the Bourque family is planning on being in attendance. Can't wait to see you all (minus Katie - but some other time).

Sounds great! Are the meetings usually in the dealership parking lots? I've just noticed that there isn't a whole lot of space in the showroom
Would it be appropriate to bring along a 21 month old who's in love with the MINI COOPER for a while?

The group meets in the showroom. If you can keep track of the 21month old (i.e. not clambering around too much in the new cars, especially after eating donuts or other sticky, crumby food), kids have been welcome in the past.

Just wanted to follow up re: goodies to bring... I have some cherry jam (home mane from the orchard run) and will bake some fresh bread. Does this dealer supply napkins, etc?

Unfortunately, due to an insane (read: probably every waking moment) work weekend coming up, there's absolutely no way I can make it to the breakfast this Saturday.

I guess I'll just have to shoot for the Towson on in August... but somehow I'll be willing to bet that it will take place while I'm away at the beach (recovering from this crazy work month!).
