I've been there! Great little British shop with a tiny restaurant included (fantastic food and the best tea you'll ever have ) I've spoken before to the woman who owns it. She and everyone who works there are British. Her husband works on British cars and I'm sure they'd love to see all of us pull up outside. Great photo op!

There are also some great roads out there to go play on...

LOL - delelie... thanks for the info. The amusing thing - they are already well acquainted with our club. We've filled their parking lot numerous times - and right after the tri-monthly MINI of Sterling breakfasts seems to be the most frequent excuse!

My boyfriend announced the other day we need to take a trip up north to another MINI breakfast.

(he's been trying to convince me to buy another mini, and I think this is another one of his plans)

MINI of Sterling probably has a pretty good stock of new and pre-owned MINIs!!! I think it'll be worth the trip

Well, my ("totaled") miata is undergoing repairs all week... and since we wanted to make an Ikea trip sometime soon, we're taking advantage of borrowing my dad's truck and seeing what we can find there

So I'll be showing up in an obnoxiously large truck to the meet.

If we're definitely going to the British Pantry for lunch, we should call them and give them a head's up. Since the breakfast doesn't require an RSVP, getting an accurate head count may be difficult.

Don't worry 'bout it... It won't be the first time it's happened. I had to take this truck to MOTD last year!

I can't make it. :-(

I won't be able to make this breakfast. I have to pack up my apartment this weekend for the big move to WV next weekend.

I'm thinking... if I pack this weekend, move next weekend, then have a cleaning company take care of the dirty work the following week, I'll be able to go Cherry Picking on the 30th!

Food is always welcome, but don't put yourself out!

On the thought of lunch at the British Pantry, so far the following folks seem interested in going:

Maxicooper
Edge
Scavenger
Paul
lanrover
Krut

Just trying to get an idea of the group size. Their dining area and staff isn't that large.

I did actually say something to Tony Moorehead on Monday when I was there... but I'll call Mike Arata tomorrow just in case to make absolutely sure that he knows too.

Thank you Haemish!

Since you spoke to Mr. Moorehead this week - does that mean that bits and pieces of your car scattered amok in MoS are being gathered and assembled?

You obviously haven't been keeping up with my thread on it.

Mmm-hmm, Mom... I'll remember that when the next Tate breakfast rolls around... oh right, nevermind.
