So a pothole ate one of my crowns. I just opted for these. Theyre not expensive by any means but I like them muuuuch better. Just had the stock tires and TPMS swapped over. 17x7.5 et 38

Car is filthy..supposed to rain tomorrow :( and the rear is usually lower..ebrake

They do have a thick lip..and theyre .5" wider

i forgot the H&R sticker was reflective lol

Nice! Dimensions? 18x?? And tyres? Are you on springs? It'd look amazing if you put it on some coils...

Those look a lot nicer than I expected them to look! I was considering picking up a set, but than decided against it; however, they are back on the list!

Thanks!

Had seen those and kinda thought I wouldn't like them. Seeing them on your car might make me think I'm wrong. Ya just might see a set of those on a Laser Blue Clubman soon......

Looking good! They seemed very "MINI" to me, but it's probably because the design is reminiscent of AC Schnitzer's wheel designed for the R56:
http://www.ac-schnitzer.de/en/mini/p...-s-r56/wheels/
That being said, when your tax return comes in, buy some new tires! Seeing the narrow tires on those beautiful wheels makes me cringe a bit. Put some meat where's it's deserved!

Very nice. I think I'll do the same. But why did you choose to go 17" instead of 18".

Lots of reasons I'm sure.

Cheaper
Better looking (opinions in both directions)
Wanted to re-use factory tires
Better ride
Didn't want 35 series tires - the sidewalls are small enough as it is.

They look great!!

I just put on a set of BBS RG-F wheels with Bridgestone Potenzas R760s. I went from 17" wheels to 16" and the difference in ride is huge. I have H&R springs and with the 17" crown spoke wheels the ride was like a truck. And I didn't have run flats. The other huge difference is the weight of the wheels. The OEM crown spokes weighed in at 22 lbs and the BBS are 12.5. I can feel the difference in the handling.

Great looking wheels! The dark-finished part matches your dark silver MINI.
