probably a 215-225? (really depends on the brand..they vary pretty significantly) The rim is dead flush w the fender so its nice to have a little stretch on the tire so that it can still go up in there if need be

I'm thinking about buying those same exact wheels actually. They look great!
Where did you get your wheel arches painted? or did you order them from somewhere??

My wife thinks I'm obssesed and she's right. I have been dying to get a new set of wheels for my ride the past couple of months, and I thought I was going to bumb up to 18's. I have been searching the web high and low trying to narrow down my picks, but I now I found what I like and I'm conviced by this web site NAM members that I should stick to 17's instead. But most of all I found myself going back to this particular forum (new rims on) and looking at Mr Iwashmy car at least 5 times a day. So that is it! I'm getting the Elbrus 104.

Those just made your Mini look about 2x more aggressive! Nice job!

I also look forward to seeing you around Columbus sometime.

Do you think there will be any rubbing if I put 215/45/17 tires on them?

Just put the same wheels and a set of yokohama S-drives on Wednesday. Drove them down to the Helenblitz event yesterday. I agree with a previous post, they really add a good deal of aggressiveness to the look if my Clubman.

alrighty i have a few questions that im hoping to be asnwered.

1) how much would you be selling the crown spoke for? the dealer and repair shops want $150 to repair the curbed rim and thats way too much.

2) the elbrus rims are 17x7.5 and our crown spokes are 17x7 and have a 205/45/r17 tire on it, does anyone know what size can be put on the elbrus? i was hoping to go for a wider tire like a 215/45/R17. can it be done safely?

i noticed how the lip of your tire iwashmycar was decently wider than the tire and that wouldnt be good for me being in New england with all the pot holes and such, would putting a 215mm tire on there close the gap? i was also hoping to gain some width for grip.

im looking at tires and i looking at the Falken FK-452 and on the site it says that the approved rim for the 215 is between 7.0 and 8.0 inches wide, but could i go to a 225mm? the aproved rim is 7.0 and 8.5? or is that too big?

this is the first time i'd be doing anything like this so im quite new to the whole rim and tire matching.
-thanks

id say the 215 would be just fine on them. Id get tires with the 'rim protector' lips on them. Dont know how else to describe them lol. These stock tires dont have them however...theyd cover that right up.

ill PM you about a rim
