Looking for some winter rims for my 2015 All4 JCW (stock have 18" - 225/45R18 ET52)....Countryman rims a bit thin on the ground where I am but lots of BMW (most with not compatible offset). Was looking at some X5 rims - CB=72.6, ET is 48, so much closer to stock than most BMW. That all seems good but a bit wide at 8.5 vs 7.5, does anyone know if they will fit? Will 225/45 look a bit stretched on those rims...or maybe consider 235/45? Ideally I want the same diameter so can use as a spare.

Well, I didn't go with the X5 rims...they looked good but a bit concerned about the width. Instead I purchased a set of BMW rims off a 2013 X3, you can see an example at: https://www.wheelsandcaps.com/BMW-X3...8x8-71477.aspx
BMW X3 (2011-14) Style 308 18x8, offset 42, CB 72.6
Looks a lot like the OEM Mini wheel my wife calls the flower wheel (and is her favourite wheel), but to me this looks better and also 18". When they arrive I will mount them and take a pic.
Here are the BMW X3 18" rims with my winter tires installed (225/45R18 Nokian Hakkapeliitta's). Rims are 1/2" wider and offset is 42 versus the stock 52.
Locally I find that BMW used rims are plentiful and often inexpensive. I am happy with these rims.
