Wow... y'all have had a lot to say when it comes to which tires offer the best ride, performance, and tread life. I am a bit overwhelmed with information. I am at 20k on the Bridgestone Turanza T001 RFT (225-50R18) that came on my my 18 Countryman S and it is time to replacement due to tread wear already.
If I compile all this information correctly... Switching to a non-RFT such as the Bridgestone Turanza Quiettrack I am sacrificing sport handling (aka: does not stick as well in high speed cornering) but gaining a quieter ride and longer tread life.
Is this the bottom line? And does anyone have the Turanza Quiettrack to offer their opinion?
Thank you.

Not sure that non-RFT means sacrificing anything...other that the RFness. It may mean increased comfort and lower noise along with overall high driving performance.
Pack some fix a flat and small compressor. They will get you through anything an RF tire will and you will enjoy all the miles in between.
I have Continental Extreme Contact DWS and love every mile.

Within the first few weeks of owning our 2019 F60 All4 S, we immediately got rid of out Bridgestone runflats and went with Continental PureContact- a sporty, grand touring tire with 60K tread life. We also have a R53 with Pirellis RF prior and they rode like a brick- steering was numb and every bump was jarring. We got about 20K out of those before happily replaced them with BF Goodrich all seasons.
