235/40 Tire on 19" JCW Double Spokes?

We currently have the stock 225/40 Pirelli run-flats on our 19" JCW double spokes, and the ride is, well, a bit harsh. Has anyone put 235/40 tires (non-RF) on 19" double spokes for a bit more cushion? Would you do it again? How's the road noise? Thanks!

i'd be more inclined to go 225/45R19.
i went from oem 225/45R18 rfs to 225/50R18 non-rfs and it made a huge difference.

also the oem tires were pirelli p7 summers and the 225/50s are michelin pilot super sports and i ended up with more cor ering traction and a better ride.
