Hey all new to the site, tried searching around with not much luck on my phone. I have a set of wheels i want to put on the countryman, and i am worried about tire size.

2013 countryman s (fwd)
18x8 5x120 bs 6.02 offset 40 weight 20.01 lbs.

I want to put 245/45/18's on them anyone had any experience with this size?

Just a fyi for anyone 245/40/18 fit nicely.

 

If I were you, I'd go with 235/45/18. I have 19x8.0 +45mm offset wheels with 245/40r19 tires. My rear tires will rub slightly on large bumps with ppl in the back (FYI, I have the sport suspension option). Your proposed +40mm offset is 5mm more outward than my setup.
