I beg forgiveness from all you Tire Folks

Okay---I was kinda okay with the runflats (at first)....I mean, I read the posts about dropping them for the non RFs, but laughed it off and said these Conti RFs aren't so bad.
Then slowly I started to get really tired of the jarring of the car and my body when we hit small potholes. Finally I became real nervous when things got really slippery when wet, I could never get comfortable with the hydroplaning effect in the slightest of rains.
So at 27K miles they were tad below 2 and 3/32's and made the switch.
Damn- what did I ever wait so long for. Just driving out of Discount Tire I could feel a huge difference.
It is raining here and M flew around corners grippy as all heck. Potholes - didn't even notice them. So--gonna be taking a long cruise to Phila next weekend -NC to Philly and will really be able to test them out.
Ended up with the Yokohama- 225/50r17's. Came in wanting the Michelin Sports but gagged at the price. Most all the guys at this discount tire ran the Yokos and alost dared me not to like them. We shall see....Ha so far so good.
