Countryman John Cooper Works OEM 19" tires

Can anyone confirm which brand and model 19" tire they received on a recent JCW CM? The standard wheels on the JCW are 18", 19" is an option.

I believe MINI is shipping Pirelli P Zero summer tires (run flat of course). Tire Rack shows P Zero's available in summer or all-season versions.

MINI works with several tire manufacturers, so there really isn't a way to know what brand of tire your car will come with until it arrives. Mine (which is not a JCW, by the way)came with Continentals, but I know of people who have gotten theirs with Pirellis or Michelins.

Thanks for the reply. I was mainly concerned with summer tires versus all seasons. An old post said 19's only come in summer variant.

I actually have some 17" rims in hand. Debating whether to mount winter tires and wheels for 6-8 weeks more of winter. Car is almost here, I can look at actual tires when it arrives.

No problem. I do have a brand-new set of 19" wheels I'm going to be putting on my Countryman soon. I plan to go with General G-MAX AS-03 tires. They come in the stock 225/40-19 size and got good reviews online. Plus, they have a pretty aggressive tread pattern and they are reasonably priced ($614 for a set of 4 at Tire Rack). The reviews say that they are a good all season tire with decent performance in rain and light snow. I live in South Florida, so snow isn't an issue, but I want the wet weather handling, since we have some vicious rain storms here in the summer.

Red came with Pirelli P Zero summers on her 19's. Just rolled 14k on them. Will get third rotation when she goes in for her tweener oil change. They are wearing much better than my Clubbie tires ever did. All4 seems to reduce tearing up front rubber.
