Love the look. Is the ride any different ?. Where did you get the lift kit?. Is gas mileage and performance the same?. Thanks

I had Run Flat 225/45/18's originally, the difference is a softer, and quieter ride. The lift came from crap industries, formerly known as cooper crap (Hesperia, Ca). As far as gas mileage, shifting etc, no difference. The pictures do not do it justice, all my friends have said, "that's not a mini".

Can I assume you had to have an alignment done after installation ?. If you don't mind me asking, what did the shop charge you for install and did the say it was difficult ?. Thanks again

$350 for parts, $100 to install. I think the price may have gone up on parts $375. They said it would take only 2 hours to install, but took 4, they said they had a problem getting a bolt out? IMHO that was a steal! Yes, anytime you lift or change wheels you should get it aligned. Mine was completely out after install, took it to American Tire Depot, $79.00 to get it re-aligned. BTW 225/60/18's won't fit without some cutting

Very nice ride! What brand tires did you go with?

I have the same lift with 235/50s in All Season and 225/55 in Winter rubber.

I have been extremely pleased with the long term ride and usefulness of the additional ground clearance, especially with the ALL4. We just had close to 10" of snow here in VA and when going out on partially cleared roads and uncleared lots I only had very minimal plowing with the nose.
