the time is near for new tires to replace the oem pirelli p7 225/45R18 summer tires

i was all set to buy michelin pilot super sports 225/50R18 but i am wondering if 235/50R18 would fit with my oem turbofan wheels?

at 27.3" od, they are the same as the dunlop grantrek 205/70R16 tires i am running for winters, but the dunlops are 30mm narrower

anyone? 235/50R18 on oem 18" wheels and sport suspension?
