KW V3 and JCW 19s

Picked up a set of JCW 19s, the handling is so much better then with factory 17s

Love the lowered look! Can't seem to find anyone who makes coilovers for 2WD CM!

Why would the KW v3 not fit the FWD version? I can't fathom how it would make a difference other than weight. Would they really spring the shock that much differently to account for the 300 lbs. difference?

That is great looking! Did you make any height adjustments on the V3's when going from 17 to 19 or did you stick with the settings you posted earlier with the 17"s?

I agreed with Hujan, I don't think there are much difference between FWD and All4, it should be direct fit, maybe Kris can confirm

Nope, left the height, rebound and damping exacting the same when I had the 17s on. But will be increasing the rebound and damping stiffness this weekend to test out the cornering abilities of the car with the 19s and lower sidewall tires. Ride comfort same as 17s surpisingly with the 19s RFT

I agree too, but if they are not comfortable labeling the kit as compatible with the 2WD, then I think I will wait for a bit longer.

Really? That's too bad. Way from WMW didn't seem concerned about it and thought they would work for AWD and FWD. I wonder if they are reluctant to state it works on FWD cars because they only tested it on the AWD cars.

I sent them an e-mail too and will report back if/when I hear something.

KW V3 kit has been built for the ALL 4 and it will physically fit the 2wd, BUT the ALL 4 is heavier in the rear so the 2wd kit should have softer springs in the rear, and/or different shock valving. Only testing will tell. but reality is there may be several people here wanting them, but in the big picture very few people are putting coilovers on R60's so it's prob going to be awhile before a new kit is made.

If released at all...

FYI, there's a Japanese Blitz kit and a Taiwanese BC kit that are made for ALL4 for those looking for alternatives.

The quality will not be as good as KW though. KW offers a much better warranty.
