Long time no post for me... It has been a very busy season up at Snowshoe for us lowly instructors. Anyhow, I went to visit my baby sitting all alone in its storage unit and I said to myself,"self, you should check in and say Hi."

So, what is everyone doing May 2nd? Let's start planning early and have a get together somewhere. If we plan early enough there is no reason we can't get a good turn out.

Where is the majority of the group located? We should start there.

Everyone on here seems to be hibernating for the Winter. I know everyone is still around because I see them out all the time. GonePostal, lives in Best Buy, I think

I have a 9-5 job M-F. So I am always good for any weekend. Only thing I have planned in May right now is my graduation on Sat. May 9th. I am up for anything else. I had so much fun at our last MINI Run, I can't wait to do it again. And I think the majority of everyone on here falls between the Huntington-Charleston area.

It does seem like people are hibernating....me included. :-) I think most people are in the Huntington-Charleston area but I know we've been tossing around the idea of a Snowshoe-area run for awhile now. I think the problem has been getting the ball rolling....and getting the ball rolling soon enough for people to make plans (since it will likely be a weekend for some of us and not just a day).

I work M-F officially but my hours are sometimes long (typically on Fridays when I'm stuck in Court until 6 or 7pm) and I sometimes have the work on the weekends. But, right now, May 2 looks good for me....but that isn't the weekend of Minis on the Dragon, is it?

Anywhere is fine with me for a run but, if we do pick Snowshoe, I have a bunch of mapped out roads with planned stopping points, etc. I think I mentioned before that my boyfriend had TT East (with all his Audi TT buddies) at Snowshoe last summer. They put a lot of work into planning runs and activities so we could steal a lot of that work for a Mini weekend, if we wanted. :-)

Motored over to Raven this morning, hoping to see a yellow MCS and to introduce myself. I saw the HC Clubman S, but didn't realize you'd traded, so I kept on motoring. I thought it probably belonged to someone who was there to golf. Went up on the mountain, but it was too foggy to see anything. Had thought of checking out the Scenic Highway, but it looked real foggy too. So, I just completed a loop and came home. Will try again at a later date.
