While I've shown the printed product to a few, I guess I never posted this on the forums. I had put together a photo album of the CORN events in 2010.

It was a good year...

We got our book last week and it's cool. The quality is great!

 

So...it's 2012 and it has been very quiet in our forums lately. We have some stuff to install for another year of motoring which we hope to have done in the next couple weeks. I guess today's weather made me anxious to get our MINI set up for summer time.

Anyone have any experience putting on a supercharger pulley?

 

Lets do a drive! I am new in the area and would love to get a few minis for a drive. Maybe an afternoon at the Mid American Motorplex? Or just a fun drive with a bunch of mini people.

 

Tracking is on my list of things to do but due to expense it has been bumped down several spots on that list. Others may be interested; however.

You've seen the Kolach Kruise event this weekend. I'm sure we'll have other motoring or social events going as well.

Is anyone planning to attend the Lauretzen Gardens "All European Car Show" Sept 9th? I heard from Jennifer and there is no pre registration but rather just show up at the back gate between 9am and noon with $20 registration fee. I am planning to attend and wondered if anyone else wanted to meet up and go in as a group.

 

Duane And I are planning on attending. Last year Ray, Mike, The Kernal and I showed our Mini's. I hope they are planning again this year. With your new cabrio (nice by the way)and Jim's JCW coupe, I think we would have a good range of mini models to display. Last year we met at Mcdonalds on 13th st at 10:30. maybe we could do that again.

 

I will not be able to make it to the show. It was either go to Omaha for the show or go to Oklahoma for a track day. The track day won out. Sorry guys maybe next year. Enjoy the day and try to keep the Smart Cars and Fiat 500's at a reasonable distance.

 

I'll be there as a spectator more than likely.

 

My wife and I will be attending, not showing.

 

If there's only 2 of us showing up I'm not going to even waist my time going!

 

I have it in my plans to show up. I was hoping that some others would. I might be bringing my MINI bike and put it up for sale to see if I can bring in a little money for it. Haven't had a chance to even ride it so maybe some other enthusiast might appreciate it.

 

Just checking, are you guys wanting to meet up again at McDonalds on 13th street at 10:30 on Sunday for the European Car Show?

 

If I can get the chubby clubby in decent condition Saturday I may show it. I'm still willing to meet up at 10:30 regardless.

 

Will you be recording footage? I'd to see and hear it in action.

 

Peggy and I are planning to attend. 10:30 meet at McD is good with me.

Sounds good. I did a quick car jet wash yesterday night. Just trying to finish cleaning up the wheels and put some wax on if possible now.

 

Just something for us C.O.R.N. fans to ponder, before next year's event.

We attended the Kansas City MINIs in the Market a couple weeks ago. Close to 30 MINIs, coupes, hardtops, cabrios, clubmans, countrymans and even a brand new roadster from the Kansas City MINI Enthusiasts. It's a wonderful setting, shopping is available, lunch is catered and several good eating spots within walking distance. It's not a car show. More like a show n shine, or like our local Euro Car Show.

We'll be going again next year! Think about it C.O.R.N. members!

Edit: Forgot to add I installed my first mod of the season...rear license plate dual magentic badge holder from Way Motors. Replaced old plate holder, new hardware, new lights on rear plate, new lenses.
