Euro Source for the MC.

I have heard several people mention in other threads that there is a better supply of after market parts over in Europe than we get over here. Mostly in referring to the Mini2 website. Call me lazy, but between the car forums I already read, work related forums, work itself, family, etc. I just don't have the time to read through another board.

So here is your chance. If you've seen a part that is available in Europe for the MC NON-S, post it here. I don't care how small, or insignificant. Put it up.

But if all you got is a pic you found in a magazine, please don't bother. I've seen the JDM stuff. I like it, but can't get it. Please post items preferably with contact info, or items that can be bought online.

Really hopping to see some new stuff.

RKW: instead of links to the pictures, please post links to the product pages so interested parties can get the contact and the pricing info. Thanks.

One of the challenges in finding stuff outside the US is many sites count these cars as BMWs. In the US the vast majority are of the new variety vice the now classic, but in most other countries it's the other way around. So, they often qualify the newer version as a "BMW MINI."

Try this UK site <Need for Speed>. The easiest way to find MINI bits is to search by car (left hand column), but you have to start with BMW. If you start out from Google (whatever search engine) and you search for "MINI Cooper" you're less likely to come across that site than if you search for "BMW MINI".

Here are a couple more sites you might not have come across yet.

Playmini2

NewMINIStuff (this one's a bit out of place since there's no peformance stuff, but everyone ought to have this link)

MinimaniaUK.com

Uprated midlands transmission
high compression pistons
5spd Ultrik LSD for midlands tranny
(if you call, you can supposedly get the uprated tranny with a lowered final drive plus the LSD)

MC upgrade kit (P&P head, cam, plus throttle body, and dual exhaust system)
Air flow upgrade (dual exhaust and throttlebody)
Cooper stage1 and 2 kits
clutches
flywheels

And Lots More! they focus a lot on the MC. You just have to pay a lot for shipping!

This is cool!! Just go 1.89 ( exchange rate ) times the price shown !! and then find a friend in the military over there to ship it back to ConUS and save a bunch on freight and import fees... Or maybe group buys could save a buck or two??

Just me.....................................

only problem with these euro sources is that they kill you on shipping and sometimes they have a high price.

Nice blue break calipers, I've been looking for those for a while now...too bad they don't actually come in blue, it has them listed as black or red. Not a fan of the new mini sport hand writing on them though. The ultra halo design indicators are pretty sweet too...VERY BMW. I was ready to buy them right now but I don't think they ship out of UK.
