What mpg does your MC get?

I've kept track of the fuel mileage in our MC over the last 1 1/2 years and 17,000 miles. All of the following figures are with 93 octane (no 91 oct around here) unless otherwise noted:
36 mpg - highway only, long trips
33 mpg - average with mixed driving
31 mpg - tried using 89 octane for several months, mixed driving
30 mpg - mixed driving plus an autocross
I've only had one tank in 17k miles below 30 mpg, and that was with several autocross events, and around 20 or more runs on that tank, and that worst tank was still 29 mpg.

I know how you do it, --it's a hyper blue thing(!) Combined 34.5 for me, 35.8 roadtrip with plenty of twsity fun and accelration along the way. Pretty sure the JCW Sound-Kit helps on both of these nemubers by a mile or two.

I only chimed in as it seemed the mileage you were getting did not seem like Cooper numbers . . .they looked like my Cooper S numbers.
Based on your more recent post, it looks like you are back in the ballpark

Our '06 R50 w/14k miles and 5spd manual has been getting pretty consistent 30-33mpg with mixed driving to work everyday...nice twisty/hilly roads in VA ranging from 45-55mph fore about 10 miles until we hit town, then it's about 3-4 miles of stop and go 25mph. The funny thing is we only get about 33-34mpg on long trips at 65+mph. I always fill up with 93 and do the figgurin' in my head...no OBC on our car.
I tried raising the tire pressure to 33psi all the way round (more of a "see if it changes the god awful runflat noise" measure), but it didn't have any appreciable effect. We do have a factory roof rack which probably adds a bit of drag...and could be robbing a couple mpgs on the highway at speed. Adding a wind-deflector didn't help with the mpg, just the noise with the sunroof open.
I love the mileage I'm getting. Sure beats the 4.0L V-6 ford ranger we were driving or my 1974 BMW 2002 with heavy drinkin' carburetor and engine mods.
We'll see if things change when I add the xmas present aFe intake I'll be picking up in a few weeks.

I upped my milage from 25.7 to 29 to 30 by adding the aFe intake.
This was the first mod I have done since I got the car a month ago and it was well worth it.
I recommend getting the full kit , it comes with a extra filter , recharge kit, detailing goodies and they even threw in a Afe ball cap.
I consider it a great bargin for under 200 bucks. The car sounds much nicer in the 3500RPM and up range also.

Yeah thats about right...
I average around 35 (mostly city.)
Plus, im not one of those drivers that accelerate quickly then slam on the brakes at the next lights ahead of me.
Lots of vehicle anticipation and smart traffic light gauging will earn you many extra bonus miles on your fuel tank.
