Cooper hood on Cooper S?
OK, not quite a performance mod but a mod question nonetheless.
CAN a regular Cooper hood be put on the Cooper S and have the supercharger's input need run through the normal grill via some 'pipes'? Curious as I think the Cooper hood is nicer looking than that S hood.
Thanks,
Miniless

I'm fairly certain that there is a space issue. The S bonnet is also a little taller to accommodate the extra S goodies.
So, no, I don't believe this can be done. ...Good try though!

Mini2Go is absolutely right. The reason for the bonnet is the induction for the intercooler, and there is a packaging issue with the amount of air available through the front slats that precludes using the front for intercooler supply air.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
