Anyone have or has heard the Sebring-RD Muffler sold by MyMINIParts?

It's priced at $259 and just maybe I could afford this, unlike the $400 plus cat-back systems.

I don't have this muffler, but based on the MyMini Touring Exhaust and my experience discussing the sound with Peter at MyMini beforehand, I strongly suggest that you call him and ask about the sound. I suspect that it will be similar to the touring exhaust, which is very nice, mellow, and unobtrusive at cruising speeds, with a good snarl on high revs. If Peter says that it is so, from my experience you can rely on him. And remember that any hp gains from the cat back system are going to be almost indetectible by your "butt dyno" except for the placebo effect. Good luck

It looks a lot like a re-badged Remus (or AC Schnitzer). You might try a "Racing Dynamics" search. My guess is that all these exhausts add a deeper tone and a bit of burble on the overrun, but not much volume. If you're looking for a sportier exhaust note this might be the cheapest ticket.

Thanks, my search came up with this.

Looks good to me. If I can be assured there is little or no annoying highway resonance I just might come up with the bucks. It's a little cheaper at MyMini than at this website. Maybe I'll call Peter Monday and order this muffler....and the ITG filter.

Almost too much excitement for my 62 year old heart.
