Electrical Ac fan
Ac fan
Hi
I have done away with the standard cooling fan and gone after market.
Will the ac work with this setup.
I know on my bmw x5 the ac does not work if the aux fan is not running.
So what i am asking is will i have to trick the system to thinking it
Has a standard fan..
Thank you

I am sorry if this is not the right place to ask this question, but I am wondering if anyone has retrofitted a brushless radiator fan.
These seem to be way more powerful and efficient than the stock fan that came in my R50, but they require a bit of electronic wizardry and I need some guidance (i.e., I think it's more than just a matter of cutting into the harness and wiring in the new fan). My stock low-speed fan works, but here in the scorching Phoenix heat my high-speed fan cycles on and off almost as if the low speed fan doesn't work at all (but it does) and the cooling is not always satisfactory at idle; pulling more CFM through the condenser would seem to be a solution. (I have a brand-new compressor and condenser and there are no problems on that end.)
I've been looking at kits from this company, which include the necessary digital control module to set your low-speed and high-speed on temperatures, etc. https://deltapag.com/products/16-bru...32780867764286
Has anyone done this? Any advice?
Thanks!
