Adding paddle shifters R57 cabrio

hello to all I am new to the group that I have been following for a while I have a 2011 non-s mini Cooper I installed a steering wheel with paddle but it does not work I am looking for the diagram that could help me reconnect the paddles to the gearbox control thank you in advance to all who can help

Sounds like programing is needed. I dont know anyone who has put up a step by step.
